🧛🏻♀️I’ll keep this one short and sweet. There were parts I absolutely loved and then some parts that left me wanting a little more.
🧛🏻♀️I was instantly hooked in the beginning (way to grab my attention: vampire attack!) and was super invested in the 2 main characters and their relationship right off the bat🦇. I loved the tension, love, miscommunication, all of it, between them! I also loved the ending and how things wrapped up.
🧛🏻♀️I went into this knowing that it would be outside of my typical genre comfort zone, so be sure to take what I say with a grain of salt (insert something here about salt warding off vampires, lol). I loved the bones🦴 of the story itself (especially the love story), but didn’t love the vampire🧛🏻♀️ parts as much as I was hoping to and feel like something was missing there.
🧛🏻♀️Overall, the dialogue between Nestor and Nena definitely redeemed the book for me. I think this will be a huge hit, especially if this genre is your typical jam, so be sure to check out lots of other reviews!
