📖Title: One Wrong Move
✍️Author: Dani Pettrey
📅Pub date: February 6, 2024
📝Genre: Christian Romantic Suspense
🌅Overall, this was a fun ride of romance, murder, heists and faith!
🖼️After a few art gallery robberies upend what many thought were safe places, fingers begin pointing at a few suspects including current security guard and former criminal, Christian O’Brady. He begins the hunt for the perpetrators with a female investigator, Andi Forester, who quickly becomes a love interest as they worked to solve the cases together.
🌅Both Christian and Andi have complicated pasts that add even more dimension to their current case! The closer they get to solving the case, the closer they get to each other. Both the mysteries of their pasts and the mystery of the current heists begins to come to light as the tension builds toward an INTENSE ending!
🖼️For the most part, I enjoyed this one. I did find it to be a little cheesy at some points, especially the joke of “Christian being a Christian”. I did like the two together as a couple and almost wish more time was spent on the romance side of things than on the heist aspect.
🌅I also think it could have added a lot if we had chapters from different characters’ POVs instead of all told in third person. At times, the narration made it hard to connect to the characters since I felt so “on the outside’ in a way.
🖼️I did love the way that both characters used their faith to help them through the difficult and scary things they were facing and how it brought them closer to each other.
🌅If you’re a fan of action packed books told from a Christian perspective, you should definitely pick this one up!
