⭐⭐⭐✨

🥰Thank you so much to @avidreaderpress and @simon.audio for the ARC and audiobook!

💙I was immediately sold on the cover of this book. Literary suspense is my JAM and I knew this would be right up my alley!

📖Overall, this was definitely for me. Heavy on character development/family drama with a little bit of mystery thrown in there, but definitely leaning more towards literary fiction than anything else.

👀I was surprised by the ending and thought the way it was wrapped up was super solid. Some parts in the middle lagged a little bit for me, but it did help give more background on the characters!

💙As a side note, I wouldn’t recommend reading the synopsis as it gives away almost the entirety of the story.

📖I would recommend this book for fans of Liane Moriarty, Laura Dave, and Sally Hepworth!

🎧As far as the audiobook itself, I thought it was well done by one narrator, Rachel F. Hirsh, but think it would be great if read physically too!

❓How have you been rating the books you’ve been reading lately? Have you had a lot of winners?
