💖Overall, this was a completely swoony romance that I never wanted to put down!

📅I fell in love with Ellie Palmer’s writing after reading and loving her debut, FOUR WEEKENDS AND A FUNERAL 🖤

⛺This is the best friends to lovers book I KNEW I needed! That’s my favorite trope and this is the best I’ve seen it done in a LONG time!

💖The main female character, Charley is recently divorced at the start of the book and I wish that that part (the ex 🙄) was left out of the plot PERSONALLY because he was the worsssst and maybe just because I love love want happily ever after for everyone always 😂

⛺I felt the romance aspect itself was very natural and believable and I thought both characters were likeable!

📖The writing really stole the show for me in this one! Ellie Palmer must be HILARIOUS because I found myself laughing and smiling so much while reading this, especially during their little inside jokes (“could never be me” had me cackling every time)! I loved the flashbacks to their friendship back in the day and thought they helped add such great depth and dimension to the story.

🎧This was narrated by the one and only Karissa Vacker and what can I say? Karissa could only possibly make an already great book even better! Her work is always flawless!
