💞I was totally sold on this book based on the adorable cover, and when I heard it took place in a cozy lake town in the Midwest, I knew it’d be right up my alley!

🛶The main character, Eliza, is 32 and her life has turned upside down. Even though she had her whole life plan perfectly laid out in her head, she found herself starting over with a new town, new friends and maybe even new love 👀

💞This story definitely revolved more around Eliza finding her place in a new setting than finding love (although that’s part of it), but I actually really appreciated that it was lighter on the romance in this case. Her story will be very relatable to many!

🌊I loved all the Midwestern vibes, the Packers/Vikings rivalry, the cheesecurd and custard talk, etc. You’d think it be a stereotype to say we mostly care about cheese, custard, lake houses, and the Packers in Wisconsin, but it’s actually so accurate it hurts 😂

🎧Amanda Ronconi was so easy to listen to and fit the character of Eliza perfectly! Don’t hesitate to listen to this one!
