🪵Okay, back to the book! The synopsis really doesn’t give much away (thankfully), so I had no idea what I was getting into at ALL and I’m worried reviews will be spoilery, so if you plan to read this, I would read as little about it as possible for the full effect.

😲From the first couple pages I was hooked with multiple stories and alternating timelines. All them them had me equally intrigued! I thought the pacing in the first half was great, but the speed doubled in the second half and I could not stop reading!

🪵The setting itself stole the show in this book. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book set in “the bush” (dense woods) in New Zealand, an area of land where people can literally vanish and never be found again.

📖This book is full of surprises and you’ll never know where it’s taking you, but I was NOT disappointed at the end. Definitely one I’d recommend!
