📖Today I want to spend some time talking about one of my favorite genres and sharing some of my favorite recs! Save this post if you enjoy a good mystery but don’t want to be too 😱 to 😴

☕Cozy mysteries are a sub-genre of mysteries/crime fiction. “Cozies” focus more on fun and quirky characters and avoid excessive gore. They will usually make you laugh and leave you much more comforted that scared!

📖A few of these don’t fit super perfectly into the cozy category (LUCKY and OF MANNERS AND MURDER) but they definitely still give me the same mystery non-thriller vibe!

📚The top two rows are series (even though some are missing books in the series or aren’t even out yet)

📕The bottom row is all standalone books (so far)!

Here’s the list:

🍲Tita Rosie’s Kitchen Mystery Series: there are currently 4 books out and book 5 is coming out later this year

🦊Thursday Murder Club Series: there are currently 4 books out and I think the series is over, maybe not?

💌Dear Miss Hermione Series: book 2 is coming out January 30th and I can’t wait to read it

🤰🏼The Expectant Detectives Series: book 1 just came out this month and book 2 is coming out June 4th

🔪Earnest Cunningham Series: book 2 is coming out on January 30th and they were both 5 stars for me

🥯Finlay Donovan Series: this is the series that made me fall in love with this genre. Book 4 is out on March 5th

🫧Molly the Maid Series: adore Molly and can’t get enough of these books! I hope there’s more coming 🤞

📖I Only Read Murder – this is the only one I haven’t read yet, it’s out in February and I think will actually be a series too.
