I’m a huge magical realism fan, so this was right up my alley! I petition for more romance/magical realism books!
I really liked the journey this book took me on and enjoyed all of it, but I LOVED the ending when some big surprises were revealed. The ending really pulled everything together and blew me away! What a genius idea for a book!
My favorite thing about this one was that I expected a super basic romance and then was given so much more. I didn’t cry, but I ALMOST DID! I want to say so much more, but you really should go in blind!
Overall, a cute and feel-good read that I think will be a big hit! It’s also @gmabookclub pick this month and a @bookofthemonth add-on! You’ll definitely be seeing this one everywhere!
