βI always know Courtney’s books will be sure to put me in a good mood! This one was especially sweet and fun, though!
πRosie Waterman’s dreams of becoming an actress continue to be squashed as one thing falls apart in her life after another. While her friends are off doing wild and exciting things, Rosie is stuck in Wisconsin (LOL). As a Wisconsinite who loves her state, I thought that the whole concept of her being “stuck” in Door County, WI working a job for a retirement home theater was hilarious. Personally, living in Door County sounds like a dream, but I get it, I get it!
βI love stories based around retirement homes and I love books based in Wisconsin, so this was right up my alley! I thought the senior citizens were totally entertaining and it was a joy watching Rosie learn so much about herself and grow so much during her time with them.
πI think this was a perfect blend between women’s fiction and romance. The romance aspect was organic and blended in so well with the rest of story!
βIf you love sweet and tender romances, books revolving around senior citizens, theater vibes, themes of resilience and following your dreams, this one is for you!
π§Jorjeana Marie did a wonderful job narrating and her voice totally fit the fun and upbeat vibes!
βWhat are you reading this week? Would you recommend it?
