🥰Thank you so much to @randomhouse@ballantinebooks@dellromance for the gifted book!

📖Title: It’s Different This Time
✍️Author: Joss Richard
📅Pub Date: September 30, 2025

🍁Another debut you don’t want to miss! This was a romance that had me ROOTING for the couple the whole time!

🧡The premise was so fun and unique. When ex-roommates are called to a meeting unaware that the other will be there, they are shocked! They’re quickly much more shocked to learn they’ve inherited a 6-million dollar NYC brownstone! Their unexpected reunion brings back many feelings from their tricky past together, but maybe just maybe things will be different this time 😉

🍁I really liked both characters, but especially Adam. I loved that he was a chef (seems to be a common theme in romances lately, lol). I thought they were the perfect fit and was just waiting for them to realize it 🙂

🗽As a HUGE fan of NYC in the fall, this book really brought me there and had me wishing I was taking a walk through central park with the yellow leaves, too!

🧡It was definitely spicier than I prefer, but also easily skippable if you prefer!

❓I’ve been struggling to focus on reading lately, what are your best tips when to get you back into a reading mood?
