πTitle: A Box Full of Darkness
βοΈAuthor: Simone St. James

Pub Date: January 20, 2026
π²I’m a huge Simone St. James fan and have read ALMOST all of her books so far. They are some of the only paranormal thrillers I enjoy because I feel like she makes them more approachable to me than many other paranormal authors.
π»I was so happy to be back in the world of Fell, New York where my favorite Simone St. James book, The Sun Down Motel took place. I thought that one was the creepiest book she’s written, but this one was even more eerie to me! The ghosts were ghosting in this one! π»π»π»π»
πWhile I loved the setting, the sibling relationship, the atmosphere, etc., I did struggle with the pace of this one. It felt a little to slow for me at times and I wasn’t as interested in all POVs as I was in some of them which made it hard at times.
π»I thought the ending was good but a little far out there for me. Overall, an easy read but not an absolute favorite of hers!
βHow’s the first week of the new year going for you so far?
