💓This book was so unique and unexpected. This is why I love literary fiction, you never know where peoples’ journeys will take them and these journeys took me to some wild and unexpected places.
📖I loved the mother/daughter dynamics so much! When Bea is fired from her job, she decides to stay with her eccentric (massive understatement) mother while she thinks about her next steps in life. She quickly finds out what her mom has been up to and it’s…crazy! I don’t want to even hint what direction this goes, because going in blind and watching the craziness unfold was so much fun!
💓One of my favorite things about this book was how insanely readable it was. Even when the plot was a little slower, the storytelling was so good that I never wanted to put it down!
🎧Helen Laser made this an absolute delight to listen to! She was the perfect choice for the narrator.
