🌌If you’re in space mode like I am lately after watching Project Hail Mary (perfection BTW) and constantly monitoring Artemis II, then you definitely need to read this!

🚀 The day that the Challenger horrifically fell out of the sky, Oliver Ines was born. This literary novel covers the story of his life from boyhood in his bedroom wallpapered with planets to his adult life as one of the world’s most influential astronauts and everything in between that got him to that point.

🛰️ Oliver’s story was told from his perspective both in the history of his life and through journal entries of his time in space. Both were equally interesting to me. The most impactful parts of this story had to do with his relationships with those closest to him and how his voyage affected those relationships. I can’t say much more on that without giving anything away, but the character development here was so well-executed.

🌌 This wasn’t a flashy and dramatic five stars, but a slow and meaningful five stars. I really wanted to just sit in this story for a while. The writing itself was so deep and beautiful and I won’t soon forget the story of Oliver Ines.

🎧 The audiobook was extremely well done and at just over 6.5 hours the perfect length for this story!

❓If you had the opportunity to go to space for free, would you go?
